One comment to P6: point2.: 12th line (according to the old manuscript):
I don't agree here, although you are absolutely right about occupancies. It is not possible to read off inefficiencies from this or a similar plot. The source of deadtime is the time needed to finish the readout of an event. The actual deadtime depends on many things from hit rate down to architectural details. This is much more involved and has to be simulated (as mentioned in the text). This plot should only illustrate at which point it makes sense to break up the daisy chain. I realize, that here the word 'occupancy' is inappropriate. I chnaged it to readout size and event size.
