Abstract
This contribution summarizes some of the important theoretical progress that has been made
in the arena of electroweak physics at hadron colliders. The focus is on developments that have
sharpened theoretical predictions for final states produced through electroweak processes. Special attention is paid to new results that have been presented in the last year, since LHCP2015, as well as on key issues for future measurements at the LHC.
