Prospects for measurements of the properties of the standard model Higgs boson and searches for beyond the standard model Higgs bosons
with the CMS experiment at the HL-LHC are presented. The studies are based on projections of existing analyses performed by CMS at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV.
