Abstract
After describing the possibilities to detect intact protons in the
final state by the CMS-TOTEM and ATLAS experiments at the LHC, we show the
sensitivities to quartic anomalous couplings (as a sign for instance of the
existence of extra-dimensions in the universe or polarizable dark matter particles)
and to axion-like particles.
