Abstract
CHANDLER is a detector technology to detect reactor antineutrinos. A prototype detector was deployed at a reactor which detected an antineutrino signal from inverse beta decay. This is the first observation of reactor neutrinos from an essentially unshielded detector and first observation of positron spectrum from street-legal, mobile neutrino detector. Being a rapidly deployable surface level detector, this technology could be used for nuclear non-proliferation and reactor monitoring applications.
