Abstract
PKS 1510-089 is one of the few Flat Spectrum Radio Quasar (FSRQs) detected in the very-high-energy (VHE, E>100 GeV) gamma-ray band. It is extremely variable in the optical and GeV. So far it was only detected in the VHE band during either long high states of optical and GeV activity or during short flares. MAGIC has monitored this source regularly since 2012. We have used Fermi-LAT data to identify periods of low activity within the GeV band. In total we have selected 75 hours of MAGIC observations from PKS 1510-089 during such low GeV flux states. Such selection resulted in the first detection of a FSRQ in the VHE band during low GeV state. We will present the results of MAGIC, Fermi-LAT and multiwavelength observations and discuss its broadband emission modelling.
