ATLAS studies of Spectroscopy and exotics

Abstract
This proceedings contribution is devoted to studies of heavy flavour hadrons spectroscopy and exotic hadron states in the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. It presents in details the result of a recent study of resonances in $J/\psi p$ system performed to test the existence of the pentaquark states observed earlier by the LHCb experiment.
