Abstract
The latest studies of beauty meson decays to open charm final states using data collected by LHCb are reviewed.
The presented results include new branching fraction measurements using data collected during Run 1 and Run 2.
These decay modes can, either directly or as inputs to other analyses, improve constraints on the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) quark-mixing matrix.
The presented branching fraction measurements are also useful for improving our understanding of hadronic $B$ decays.
