The Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) is an Italian public research organization
devoted to the study of the fundamental constituents of matter and of their interactions. Its theoretical and experimental research
activities are in the fields of sub-nuclear, nuclear and astroparticle physics. INFN employs 2500 staff (scientists, technicians and
administrative staff) and about 4000 associate people. In the last 20 years, the gender parity has been monitored and affirmative actions
have been proposed. Statistics and actions will be presented.
