Investigation of hadronic exit channels of the $𝝅^− +^{12} 𝑪$ reaction at an incident momentum of 0.7 GeV/c

Abstract
Differential distributions obtained for different exit channel topologies (𝑝𝜋−, 𝑝𝜋− 𝜋− and 𝑝𝜋− 𝜋+) for the 𝜋⁻ + 𝐶 reaction are reported. The data have been collected with the High Acceptance
Dielectron Spectrometer (HADES) setup, using the GSI pion beam at an incident pion momentum of 0.69 GeV/c. Pion and proton spectra are compared to theoretical predictions of the INCL++ cascade, and of SMASH, RQMD.RMF transport models and PLUTO. Large dispersion is found between model predictions.
