Abstract
We consider an axion-like particle coupled to the Standard Model photons and decaying invisibly at Belle II. We study the $e^+e^-+\text{invisible}$ channel and find that it has the potential to ameliorate the reach from the standard $\gamma+\text{invisible}$ channel for the whole ALP mass range. This is due to a significant Standard Model background suppression that we achieve via some dedicated kinematic variables.
