Abstract
The J-PARC muon g-2 experiment intends to measure anomalous magnetic moment, aμ, of positive muons with a precision of 450 part per billion (ppb) for the statistical uncertainty and with a systematic uncertainty of about 70 ppb. It will also measure the EDM with a sensitivity of 1.5 · 10−21 e·cm. In this report, a brief overview of the status and prospects of the experiment is presented.
