Abstract
Hypernuclei produced in heavy-ion collisions offer exciting oportunities to explore various aspects of dense nuclear matter and to study the properties of rare hypernuclei in great detail. In the CBM energy range hypernuclei production rates are expected to have a maximum, which makes CBM, together with the high interaction rates and its advanced detector design, the perfect environment for these measurements. In this study the CBM reconstruction performance of hypernuclei in the 3-body decay channels is investigated.
