Lepton Flavour Universality tests and determination of $|V_{us}|$ using the HFLAV-Tau branching fractions fit
Abstract
We present an update of the lepton flavour universality (LFU) tests and of the determination of the CKM matrix element \Vus using the latest HFLAV-Tau global fit of $\tau$ branching fractions. The fit accounts for correlations and dependencies on common external inputs. We investigate the impact of using next-to-leading-order QED corrections in the LFU tests.
