Abstract
A detailed characterization of the Higgs boson and its interactions with other elementary particles is a key objective of the LHC physics program. The CMS experiment employs dedicated reconstruction and analysis techniques to optimize the sensitivity to deviations from the Standard Model (SM) in the structure of the Higgs boson couplings. This contribution summarizes studies performed with the complete Run 2 dataset, corresponding to 138 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV, probing anomalous effects and the CP nature of the Higgs boson interactions. The measurements are consistent with Standard Model predictions, and scenarios with purely CP-odd couplings are strongly disfavoured.
