Abstract
Dynamical probes such as thermal photons and quarkonia provide valuable insight into the properties of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) created in heavy-ion collisions. The relevant information is encoded in their spectral functions. Extracting these spectral functions from lattice correlators is a challenging task due to the ill-posed nature of the inverse problem, which requires additional physics input. In this talk, I will present recent lattice results on the spectral functions of some dynamical probes related to the heavy-quark diffusion coefficients, quarkonia,
thermal photon rate, and Chiral Magnetic effects.
