A duality route to the weak-coupling limit of SU(N) lattice gauge theory: A Hamiltonian formulation
Abstract
Recent developments in the dual (or magnetic) representation of SU(N) lattice gauge theory in the Hamiltonian
formulation, along with its potential for studying the weak-coupling limit, are discussed. The most general
disorder operators that create and annihilate SU(N) magnetic fluxes are also discussed.
