"Niñas Atómicas" (Atomic Girls): An initiative that generates opportunities for young girls in STEM

Abstract
We comment on the design, methodology, contents and main objectives of the ''Niñas Atómicas'' initiative, our scientific workshop for high-school girls that has taken place in Chile since 2022 under the scope of SAPHIR Millenium Institute. We present data measurements from the workshop as well as interdisciplinary research results from the 2024 and 2025 editions, focusing on the participants’ perceived learning after completion.
