Abstract
A set of recent measurements of Higgs boson production and decay properties made by the CMS experiment at CERN, based on data collected by proton-proton collisions is presented. Using the full Run 2 dataset (138 fb$^{-1}$), combined signal strength measurements across multiple production and decay modes yield an inclusive signal strength modifier of $\mu^{\mathrm{incl}} = 1.014^{+0.055}_{-0.053} = 1.014^{+0.040}_{-0.039}(\mathrm{theo})^{+0.025}_{-0.024}(\mathrm{exp})\pm0.028(\mathrm{stat})$, consistent with the Standard Model expectations. Cross sections and branching fraction ratios are measured within the Simplified Template Cross Section Stage 1.2 scheme, alongside differential fiducial cross sections as a function of the Higgs boson transverse momentum. These results are further interpreted in an Effective Field Theory framework, constraining Wilson coefficients associated with dimension-six operators, including a principal component analysis. In addition, an updated fiducial cross section measurement in the $H\rightarrow ZZ^{\ast}\rightarrow 4l$ channel using a partial Run 3 dataset (171 fb$^{-1}$) is reported. All measurements show good compatibility with the Standard Model predictions.
