Abstract
With a sample of $1.3\times 10^9$ $J/\psi$ and $4.5\times 10^8$ $\psi(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, the recent results on the light hadron physics, including study of the light meson spectroscopy, search for the strangeonium-like structure and the light meson decay dynamics, are presented.
