Abstract
We summarize the current status of particle physics, collecting the established deviations from the standard model of particle interactions both at the energy and the intensity frontiesr as well as in cosmology. We propose a specific U(1) extension of the standard model gauge group of particle interactions and discuss the possible consequences of the model concerning the observed deviations.
