Abstract
In the present work we estimate the orbital contribution to the photoproduction of the ground state pentaquarks, described as compact $qqqQ\bar{Q}$ configurations with $J^P=3/2^-$ in the framework of the harmonic oscillator quark model. The photocouplings $P_c(uudc\bar{c}) \rightarrow p+\gamma$ are found to be highly suppressed due to the large value of the photon momentum.
