Abstract
In this contribution I provide a brief overview of recent results from lattice Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) simulations, focusing on results at finite temperature and density. In particular, I cover results obtained via analytical continuation from simulations at
imaginary chemical potential. I discuss the determination of the QCD transition line, as well as the equation of state of QCD from a newly devised, alternative expansion scheme.
