Abstract
Many theories beyond the Standard Model predict new phenomena which decay into well isolated, high-transverse-momentum leptons.
Searches for new physics models with this signature are performed using the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
The results reported here cover searches for W' and Z' bosons using 36.1 fb−1 of proton--proton collision data collected in 2015 and 2016 by the ATLAS detector at the LHC with a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV.
