Abstract
The ALICE detector at the LHC has measured the charmonium production at mid and forward rapidity in pp collisions at \sqrt(𝑠) = 5.02 TeV. Recent results of the inclusive cross section for J/𝜓 and 𝜓(2S) at midrapidity and forward rapidity are reported. Also, the cross section in various differential bins of transverse-momentum (𝑝_T ) for J/𝜓, 𝜓(2S) and the 𝜓(2S)-to-J/𝜓 cross section ratios are presented. An inclusive cross section in double-differential bins of transverse-momentum (𝑝_T) and rapidity for J/𝜓 at forward rapidity are presented. Finally, the results are compared with several theoretical model calculations.
