Abstract
Progress in Higgs theory on two fronts will be discussed. The first concerns recent significant developments in the determination of SM predictions for Higgs physics at the LHC. The second concerns an evolving understanding of the landscape of theories which may underpin the microscopic origins of the Higgs boson, with a particular focus on the Higgs self-coupling and the question of Higgs compositeness.
