The ePIC detector is designed to address the full physics program of the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC). It consists of several sub-detectors, each tailored to study specific physics channels. One of the key components of ePIC is the dual-radiator Ring Imaging Cherenkov (dRICH) detector, a high-momentum particle identification system located in the hadronic end-cap. Silica aerogel has been selected as the solid radiator for this purpose. The optical and geometrical properties of the aerogel tiles are crucial for enhancing particle identification performance, and intensive R\&D efforts are underway to optimize these characteristics. Current studies focus on defining and refining the aerogel tiles to ensure optimal performance, through the characterization of its main properties
