In this contribution we will discuss the application of soft-gluon
resummation techniques to improve the precision of the theoretical
predictions for the process $t\bar{t}\gamma$ at the LHC.
The calculation is carried out in the framework of invariant mass threshold
resummation and is matched to a fixed-order calculation at next-to-leading
order accuracy in QCD.
The results reported in this contribution are preliminary and will be part
of a more extended study.
We will also compare these results to recent measurements performed by the
ATLAS collaboration.
