Abstract
Hyperons offer a unique avenue for addressing unresolved scientific puzzles such as matter-antimatter asymmetry and quark confinement. By exploring hyperon spin properties, we can delve into polarization, charge parity tests, electromagnetic properties, and investigate fundamental interactions through scattering processes. The world's largest $J/\psi$ and $\psi(3686)$ data samples collected with the BESIII experiment, along with their branching fractions to hyperon-antihyperon pairs, enable the study of hyperons with enhanced precision and scope. This report presents the recent highlights in hyperon physics at BESIII including hyperon transverse polarization and charge parity symmetry tests, hyperon weak radiative decays and hyperon-nucleon interaction.
