Abstract
It was discussed how planned facilities may provide new information on $\gamma\gamma \to \gamma\gamma$ scattering in UPC of heavy ions. In some regions at the phase space, the hadronic excitation of both photons could be seen as a 10\% modification of the cross section with respect to the calculations with only boxes. Identification of this mechanism at FoCal would be interesting and would allow to verify the concept of the VDM-Regge experimentally. We also conclude that the ALICE 3 infrastructure will be useful to observe $\gamma\gamma \to \gamma\gamma$ process in a new domain of energies and transverse momenta. The two-$\pi^0$ background was presented. This contribution can be eliminated by imposing dedicated cuts on di-photon transverse momentum and vector asymmetry.
