Abstract
We investigate constraints on the branching fractions of the lepton-flavour-violating decays τ → l μ μ at current and future pp and e+ e− colliders. The constraints are translated into those on parameters of seesaw models, the left-right-symmetric model, and the minimal supersymmetric standard model.
