Abstract
The standard ΛCDM model of cosmology has been highly successful in explaining a wide range of data from various scales and epochs of the Universe. However, recent observations have revealed a number of discrepancies and anomalies that cannot be easily understood within this baseline scenario. This contribution aims to present a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the situation emerging from the most recent analyses of the Cosmic Microwave Background temperature anisotropies and polarization angular power spectra. It delves into the key elements underlying current discrepancies, examining the challenges that must be addressed to restore cosmic concordance.
