Abstract
The minimal renormalon subtraction (MRS) [Phys. Rev. D 98 (2018) 054517; Phys. Rev. D 97 (2018) 034503; JHEP 2017 (2017) 62; JHEP 2023 (2023) 108] technique is summarized. A new result is a study of the scale dependence of the pole-mass--$\overline{\rm MS}$-mass ratio in MRS perturbation theory. As expected, the scale dependence is much milder than in standard perturbation theory, but it is a bit larger than other truncation effects such as omitting the NNNLO term or varying the normalization of the renormalon subtraction.
