Chiral Dynamics
The International Workshop on Chiral Dynamics 2021, the tenth in a series which started in 1994 at MIT, and was later held in Mainz (1997), Jefferson Lab (2000 and 2012), Bonn (2003), Duke (2006), Bern (2009), Pisa (2015), Durham (2018) and will take place in Beijing, from November 15 to 19 2021, and will be jointly hosted by the Institute of High Energy Physics, The purpose of this workshop series is to bring physicists together who are active in this field, as well as those who are interested, to discuss and debate the most recent achievements and future developments.
The workshop will have a near equal contribution from theorists and experimentalists and, as in the latest editions, a strong synergy with the lattice community will be present.

Meson-meson and meson-baryon interaction
Effective field theory and chiral perturbation theory
Few-body physics
Compton scattering and the polarizabilities of the nucleons
Hadronic contributions to g_mu-2

The Ninth International Workshop on Chiral Dynamics (CD18) will be hosted by the Triangle Universities Nuclear Laboratory (TUNL) and will be held in Durham, NC from September 17th to 21st, 2018. This series of workshops, which started at MIT in 1994, brings together theorists and experimentalists every three years to discuss the status and challenges in the physics of low energy QCD, Goldstone Boson dynamics, meson-baryon interactions, few body physics, lattice QCD and ChPT.
Following the tradition of this triennial series of Conferences, it attracted theorists and experimentalists of this research field, who were brought together to highlight the recent progress in the field of low energy QCD, and to discuss and explore the direction for future development. The conference consisted of plenary talks and three working groups.

In addition to the scientific program, a few social events took place during the conference. A reception was organized for the participants at Grand Hotel Duomo on Monday, June 29, in the evening, during which the Major of the City of Pisa, Marco Filippeschi, met and greeted the participants. Wednesday afternoon was reserved for an excursion to the nearby city of Lucca, where also a piano concerto by the distinguished pianist Dr. Young-Hyun Cho was given. The social dinner took place on Thursday evening in the cloister of Santa Maria del Carmine.
The upcoming Chiral Dynamics Workshop will take place in Durham, NC (USA) in 2018. We thank Mohammad Ahmed, Haiyan Gao, Calvin Howell, and Dean Lee for graciously taking the baton from us, and wish them all the best for a successful and pleasant conference.
